How large do other people's files get? One of two of mine have grown to about 100MB and my work colleague tells me this is way to big to deal with. It is a house, with specific built properties for each individual room - just thought I'd see what size other people's files get up to...thanks

Sounds big to me.

Have you tried to saveas and compact the file?

Do you lots of renderings inside the file, if you do, try to save them outside the project and get rid of them, they tend to take up lots of space in the model.

I think that is very large for a house.  Most of our commercial, multi-story projects are between 120 and 200 meg.

Thanks, yes i render inside the file and save them. There are probably 50 renders at least in there. Also, its an enormous house, more like a small hotel - will endeavour to keep it smaller next project...: )
