i am trying to import revit renderings into autocad drawings.

my engineer only uses autocad and for construction plans it would be helpful to use the renderings in some of the engineering details.

i have attaching renderings as high quality jpeg files, but quality appears to be lost when attached.

what is the best practice for using revit renderings in an autocad drawing

 thanks.

For a rendering or true 3D view, your only option will be a jpg file.  We also use exported 3D section views that are linework in CAD.

the problem appears to be size of the revit jpg exports.

although exporting large pixel sizes, the jpg are coming into autocad as very small photos.  10,000 pixel files that are only an inch by an inch.  and then when scaled larger, clarity is being lost.

the image size in pixels is 10,000 by 4434 but the image size in units is only 1 x .4434

the images are coming into autocad as very small pictures and then scaling them larger they are losing clarity.
