I want to add a "Title" parameter to my "Graphic Scale" family and I want it to change the text whenever I change the scale. I added a text type label and went through each type and added the text for each type. Whenever I change the type while editing the family the value does change. However, when I try insert one on my title sheet it stays at whatever type I had it set to when I loaded it. Why doesn't Revit remember what my text type parameters are when it remembers my dimension type parameters? I know I could do simple text with visibility linked to the yes/no parameter for the visibility of each graphic type, but I consider that a poor workaround for something that should be simple.
