Hi there

I am a newbie in Revit and this forum.

Could anyone advice on how do I make a wooden beam to slope on one end please?

Please see sketch attached.

Many thanks in advance

M

Here you go, you have control of the heights at the ends of the beam, as shown.  It's just in your properties box.  If you're doing some complicated geometry though, I'd suggest modeling in place, with sweeps and such.  beams aren't very friendly to work with.

I guess your sketch didn't upload?

If you want the whole beam to slope, either draw it in section at the desired angle or use the parameters as shown in the post above, or host the beam to a reference plane at the angle you desire

If you mean you want an angled cut on the end then use a reference plane and the cut geometry tool.  That is, draw a reference plane where you want it to cut, then use cut geometry tool, select the reference plane and then the beam.
