Sorry, I should have asked this with my other question I posted. This is the only other thing that I need to know for my building. Some parts of my building use a glass facade but I need it to have black framing, when I render it - it is just a clear glass, I have had a bit of a play around with it but cannot seem to find where the black framing may be. Any help with this anyone?

Hi Pepinho.

I´m not 100% sure that I understand your question - But assuming that your "glass facade" is a Curtain Wall (CW), and by "framing", you actually mean Mullions ?

  1. Pick the CW you allready created
  2. Edit/Duplicate to create a new type (and give it a new name - i.e. "CW with Mullions"Winking
  3. In the Type Properties dialouge, add "Vertical Mullions" and "Horizontal Mullions" as desired (In the OOTB template, there´s a "Rectangular Mullion: 50 x 150 mm" which is good for most)
  4. Also in the Type Properties, you´ll want to set "Grid Patterns" and "Join Conditions"
  5. Finish editing
  6. Pick one of the Mullions on the new CW (Use Mouse over/TAB to select)
  7. Chose Edit Type, and set the material to whatever black material you need (or create a new material)

Hope that helps, and good luck.
