I have created a room tag in which I will be able to specify the hvac system. I did it by nesting a annotation symbol family of "cav" and "vav" (in which i will add more later) and assigning a family type parameter to the annotations so that I will have a drop down list for the various systems.

It worked fine. What I want to do is promote this family type parameter to project parameter so that I can see all the various system of each rooms in a schedule view. I cant do it as the room tag family category doesnt support shared family type parameters.

 Is there a workaround for this scenario to happen ? Thanks alot, attached is the file and the family.
