I'm attempting to make a schedule for curtain wall panels that are not exactly rectangular.  I would like to have a height and width but once the panel is cut into or made into a triangle I can't get any values for height or width, but only area.  I am using the curtainwall for steel panels that have openings cut into them and would like the max height from top to bottom to show up on the schedule.  Right now the only value I get is area.  Can anybody help?

Only really solution would be to elevate it and dimension...  Unfortunately this is just how Revit currently works with irregular curtain panels.

Another solution would be to create an adaptive point based family with reporting parameters bound to shared parameters and host this to the curtain panel then schedule those points.  But probably overcomplicating things a bit...

I've been messing around with the latter solution of creating an adaptive point based family.  I assume this is either a curtain panel pattern family or the adaptive component.  I've created the panel pattern or adaptive component with the parameters but am having trouble hosting it in my curtain wall assembly.  All of the tutorials I've seen show it being hosted into a conceptual mass but when I try to host it to a curtainwall it wants it to specifically be a curtain panel.  Any suggestions?

Is there any way to get a curtainwall/storefront door into my door legend? I tried to place it, and it said I had to enter a dimension, but the only thing it would let me do is 3'-0" and it looked like a square panel. I changed it to 7'-0" after placing it, and it just changed to a 7' square (the door's glass panel and elevation swing).
