hi,

I am using revit 2011.

hope image is explaining my problem. probably i have a wrong methodology that's why asking you for a hint.

basically edges of main cut cones are expressing construction lines but cones are connected to each other so you can walk between cones. I want to model cautious outside skin of roof.

so far i

1 construct main cones

2 with mass floor i achieve section lines on cones on desired level

3 on that line i bult two set so cones linked with main one (so when i move construction cone rest follows)

4 i create walls on faces because roofs cuted in strange way on such a steep angel

5 i create roof between mass floors lines.

with red line i marked problematic areas

If i can model one with mass desired shaped roof wold be easy to do...

any way looking foreword for any hits suggestions

its not so difficult tusk so refit should deal with it with no problems

i attach revit file as well

best
