Hi all, When creating a sloped ceiling revit automatically plumb cuts the ends. How do I stop this from happening? cadjockey

Unfortunately ceilings don't have the same options as roofs for the edges. So two options. Do it as a roof... OR create an in-place void family to cut the ceiling edge as required.

Hi Mr Spot, That's a real shame. To have such a great tool and have it let you down at the post. Anyway, If I create it as a roof will it show up on the ceiling plans and can I tag it on the ceiling plan appropriately? Also, In using void sweeps to trim the edges of elements ie. roof/fascia junction, I am finding it very difficult to locate the void sweep once again in order to use it somewhere else. Sometimes the rollover finds it. Most times it doesn't. Is there another way? cadjockey Post edited on 2005-11-02 03:36:49
