Greetings ...

Here is a curious one.  My designer wishes to present a site plan with the topography coloured - different colours for different elevaitons.  Please see the attached PDF. 

  1. Is there a facility in Revit that will assist with identifying the different topography elevations by colour?   
  2. Also could this be done for a section?

I suspect that Filled Regions will be the only way to go, but I don't look forward to tracing the contour lines to create the filled regions (don't know if I can trace contour lines).

Any strategies will be appreciated, thanks.

Export to CAD to get the linework, then either fill it in CAD and import (probably easier) or import the linework into seperate filled area sketches.

 

NOTE:  This is all only 2D.

Can I imort CAD linework into a sketch mode?  I tried that once but had no success.
