I am somewhat of a beginner and cannot figure out how to create a custom millwork piece. My boss wants a certain style of bar that I cant find anywhere. How do I create say a custom 3d bar or a custom pony wall with nice design elements protruing from it? Please help and thank you all

What you want you can probably just model in-place. Start with the top, just a simple extrusion, the thickness of the bar with assigned material. I doubt that the edge of this is just square, so you will want to do a sweep along the edge, again in-place, using a profile you also draw in-place. If you can do these two simple tasks, then you can create the rest of the bar using other shapes. If you can't do these, then you need to do some tutorials on how to create Revit forms.
