Hello I am an architect new to Revit for about 1 month. I have a building that I started from scratch, setting my first floor grade at 0'-0". According to the actual site survey, this grade is actually 778'-0". When I import the survey, and create a toposurface, the contours come in at their true elevations. Is there a way to get the contour elevations in the toposurface to relate to my existing model? When I try to change my floor elevations to match the survey elevations, my model gets all messed up. Is there any easy trick here, or do I have to rebuild the model using the actual survey elevations? Thanks

To move the model up use the relocate project tool in elevation and simply move the whole project up by the required amount.

For whatever reason, when I try to 'relocate the project', both the model and the toposurface move up the desired distance, even if I de-select the toposurface. I checked the CAD survey and the contours are at their correct Z coordinates per their elevation. I then tried bringing in the survey and moving it instead of the model. That worked. Isn't there a way to coordinate the Z points in the survey with elevations that you've established with the model? Thanks

TRY GOING TO ELEVATION, PICK THE TOPO AND MOVE UP OR DOWN TO YOUR LOCATION...
