It might seem a simple question. But is it possible to copy from one floor plan and paste straight to another floor plan.eg. stairs? I am using Revit 2011.

Sure just use ctrl+c to copy, and ctrl+V to paste. When pasting you can use the paste align tool if the items should be placed "The same" place I have descreibed it at this post, just use translate button on top right http://revitblog.dk/?p=540

You can also do a ctrl+c then go to paste and select past alligned to a level, and just pick the new level you want to paste it on.
