What's the best way (if any) to create an independent entitiy that can be inserted into a model and moved around freely? I'm trying to create unique detail elements for the exterior facade of a builing and don't need to have a lot of fancy adjustments so I just want to be able to create these details and apply them to the building. Any direction would be helpful. -Justin

Create a family using a walll based template. Probably "Generic Model wall based".rft
