Hi, I've trawled this site for the past few hours to find solutions to a few of the Inventor / Revit compatability issues that we're having and decided that creating a new post would be the best, apologies if these have been answered elsewhere. We're a company which predominantly uses inventor for our process machinary drawings however we've now moved from 2D AutoCAD to Revit Structure for the Building / Civils work. I want to be able to efficiently import Inventor models into Revit Structure for space planning, overall GA's and structural framing etc. Please see below questions: 1) Is ADSK the best file type to use in terms of size, capabilities etc. 2) How do i get materials to work on ADSK or other files from inventor so that they display as in inventor? 3) Can masses calculated by inventor be communicated to Revit Structure for loading? Thanks
