I have existing model lines in the plan that I can see fine, but if I try to draw new ones they do not show up. There is no plan region that is in the way. I also can stretch a existing line into the area were I was trying to draw the new line and it is visible in that area.

THE ONLY THING I COULD THINK OF THAT WOULD DO THAT WOULD BE THE CROP VIEW/ CROP REGION/ ANNOTATION CROP. CAN YOU DRAW A LINE IN THE AREA THAT YOU CAN SEE AND THEN MOVE THE LINE TO THE AREA WHICH IT WON'T SHOW UP WHEN YOU DRAW IT?

Check your work plane and view range, you may be inadvertently drawing your new lines higher or lower than you think.

Thanks for the input. I just figured it out. My floor system was 1.5" into the 2nd. level.
