I'm designing a fire station and am trying to put doors in a custom curtain wall i made through massing and patterns. I have tried approaching it from various ways but all prove unsuccessful, can anyone please help me figure out how to do this? thanks

If I am incorrect on your methods I appoligize. This is a farily common misconseption for those new to Revit. A curtain wall/store front door is not a door, it is a curtain wall panel. You just need to tab to the curtain wall panel you would like to be a door and then select which door you would like it to be.

I cant upload the file, its over 2 mb. here are some images of what im working with. u can see how i approached the door issue on the concrete wall (vs curtain wall that i am trying to do now) I followed the autodesk student expert tutorials and made a pattern curtain wall by making a form out of lines then dividing the form's surface along vertical or v grid drew lines and used intersects for u grid applied curtain panel as pattern for creating the openings for door only way i could think of was void form so i went back and deleted pattern and made the void openings but now cant get panels to fit... PLEASE HELP

I think that since its a pattern curtain wall, there is no option for doors when i select a panel, only other panels such as solid or glazed. Not sure how to post the file since its 5000kb

If you are expecting to put a door in a sloping curtain wall or in a panel with sloping side mullions, you can't really build it so you probably can't model it unless you build something in -place. However, a curtain wall door does work in a curtain system placed on a mass by face.
