Revit Architecture 2011 We are currently working on a existing building and are using the phases (existing, new construction). When exporting out to AutoCAD, I can control the layers and colors of new construction elements but existing elements fall under one category "Existing" in the export file. I have assigned an "-E" for the layer name so exported elements follow our layer standards (i.e. A-WALL-E for an existing wall) If I designate a Color ID for existing, all existing elements are assigned this color in the AutoCAD file. If I leave the Color ID empty, elements are assigned a multitude of colors 10, 50, 55, etc. Is there a way to control how each of the existing elements are exported (i.e. an existing wall would be different color (Color ID 3) than an existing door(Color ID 2))? How are the phases elements assigned colors if the Color Id is empty? Thank you for your help regarding this.
