tried this question in another forum, couldn't get any clarification. maybe someone can help?
I have inserted double glass curtain wall doors on the shopfronts. now, I want to tag the double doors so that i can see it in my door schedule. How do you tag the doors since the door tags only appear when you insert the door? In the schedule, it recognizes the double glass and single glass doors but does not give it a mark or type? why? Help

you can tag doors using the "tag" tool under the "drafting" tab. There could be a number of things wrong with the schedule to not show mark or type. Make sure the schedule has those fields applied to it.

just checked again, I've got the same issue. I understand what your asking I think. You have created a curtain wall and replaced the system panel with a door type for the curtain wall. You go to tag it and you get a curtain wall tag. I don't think you can force the door tag onto the curtain wall door.
We'll have to look for a work around, unless there is a solution I haven't found yet. - Anyone else...

all you have to do is use the "tag" tool on the drafting tab. the tag snaps in place to the curtain wall door. At least it does in 6.1

Perhaps thats the key. In 5.1, the door is listed in the door schedule, but not on the floor plan.

The TAB key is your friend, start the tagging command, hover over the door curtain wall panel, press tab until the door is selected.
