Does anyone know if there is a setting somewhere that defines the offset from attachment between a column and beam?  I know you can adjust the offset once the attachment is made, however, for some reason we are getting a 1/2" offset automatically when we make the attachment (the offset parameter shows 0" btw).  I have checked the column family, the in house template, and the different versions we use and I can't recreate it in any of them.  It would seem to be a setting in the model itself - but I can't seem to find it.  I transferred project standards and still no change...

Any ideas on what to try next?

Is it attaching to a beam?  It looks like a custom column family and maybe there is an issue with the geomtry of the cap plate or something.  Or it could be attaching to a plane in the beam family that is not visible in the view you are showing.
