Trying to put storefront double door family into model. Revit 2011. The family is loaded under the Project Browser but i cannot load it into the project because it does not show up under my Door drop down menu. any thoughts?

Storefront/Curtain Wall doors are not doors, they are curtain panels. You need to tab and select which panel you want to make a door.
