I've read a bunch of forums about curtain wall doors but can't an answer to my dilema.

I've modeled a beatiful curtain wall door that works perfect, it adjusts to the right size and it can be tagged as a door no problem. However, when I put it into my legend as a legend component, it puts it in at a funny size. I've attached a image showing my 3D modeled along with how it shows up in the legend. Currently I just show it as 2D lines to 'workaround' it but that seems inefficient. Thanks!

Curtain wall panels are always shown in a legend as a square panel.  You can change to host legth to something like 8' and you will have an 8 x 8 door.... Not what you wanted - right?

We usually use a model elevation view rather than a legend.  Then we hide the elevation call-out on allplan views.

You could also export to CAD to freeze it to a 2D view, then import that linework into your legend.

I have the 'Freeze drawing' add-in so I'll just use that for the lines. Thanks for the response.

Those losers in Autodesk, can' they just fix simple problems like this instead of adding "sketchy lines" and other useless things?
