so I have followed the steps in this thread. I am stuck at the category. the "sheets" category is only available when I have the "instance" button checked. I would like Date label to be a "type".

I am trying to create a parameter for the phase the project is in i.e. "state review", "issue for bid set", "issue for construction" and I would like it so that when I change the date it is reflected in all the sheets.

If that is a project information parameter, it will show in all sheets. Like the project name / number.

so I am in the project and I select project parameter. then I click Add and then choose shared parameter. in this screen it want me to choose wither Type or Instance and it also wants me to choose a category. if instance is selected the sheets category is available. but if I choose type the sheets category is not.
