I exported to pdf (tried cute pdf and pdf creator) and seems like when i drag the file in photoshop CS3 it opens it completely wrong scale:S:S

when i export to pdf I select the scale on the bottom of revit pages next to detail level to be the one i want to be plottes right?then i did settings:current window  ,zoom 100%, center,a3 landscape ,black lining... wth is wrong with it??

in photoshop(when it opens document) the settings i tick constrain proportions -and it shows the ones i saved in which is 297x420mm a3

and i put 300 resolution

then i go canvas size and it shows 297.03x 210 which isnt the one was supposed to be.. and htats probably why the scale is wrong..

any suggestions?

Did you check the pixel aspect ratio in photoshop? Under view pull-down and pixel aspect ratio set to square.

Choose media box instead of crop... next time use a vectorial software ( like ilustrator). Most images architects make doesnt need at all photoshop. Can be done by parts, and put together in ilustrator.

hey guys,

I think my previews ones were messed up cause i took them from autocad 2010 to 2007(2010 didnt export pdf for a reason) so I guess even the program got confused haha.

i took all drawings to pdf from revit automatically and looks fine so far..just now I have to do a detailed one and I exported to dwg ,hope it wont get messed up again.

crwinchester the aspect is double as you said I checked so its fine Puh for a reason resolution makes sizes different, i thought that was for quality?:S

nastyclown I use photoshop cause Im used to using that one for presentations.. I dont change the architectural images, just very little. but I have illustator too so I'll check it out too.  yeah that media box works now thanks!!
