My wishes when I export from revit to autocad are:

1 - That the format and position of the dimensions remain exactly the same, even when you move a dimension text on revit and it shows a little arc to keep conection with it. Also same Font Type and same thick marc (diagonal or dot).

2 - That the filled regions remain exactly the same, for example, not converting the earth region of revit to a solid gray region. Also when I have a region with some color and pattern and an object with a material with the same pattern and color applied, they have to mach when I export, but they look with different color and pattern on some cases, even on the same exported sheet some viewports look well and others look with these details).

3 - Less is more. Less trouble when doing the format to export to autocad. More simple and faster.

4 - That revit export sheets with the viewport locked on.

5 - That the grid boubles keep aligned on the grid, not more left or right on the paper space.

6- When I export a sheet with some details in red, I want them to be red on the autocad sheet, not black.

A lot of people still work with autocad, we need that the information exports exactly as we did it on revit.

Hope this helps...

Regards,

I also wish that this page does not change my font size unexpectedly. I mean, It´s a web page, not revit. Puh

6- When I export a sheet with some details in red, I want them to be red on the autocad sheet, not black. --> you can export that details in any color, lets say 158 ( random number) then override the ctb in autocad with a red over that detail.

The other wishes... well, rvt to autocad improve ( a little) in every new version of revit.

Autocad receive the dimension just like you send it, anyways you can override it in dimension styles, under format tab in autocad. It will be named just like the name you put in the type of the dimension in revit.

No. The exported dimensions turn to standard text type and thick marc change. This happens on every exported projects on our firm. You shouldn't have the need of reconfiguring dimensions on each acad sheet.
