This is a corner board family that is wall hosted. It will sit over whatever the outside layer of your wall is. The next post will have the non-hosted version to sit against the sheathing layer of the wall. Tom

This is non-hosted version. You can turn your view res to medium to see the layers in your wall and place this so it sits over the sheathing layer, but not the siding. Use the join geometry command to keep siding from going through the corner board. Tom

New to Revit, but I've just created an in-place component, extrusion type, in an "L" shape that matches the size of the corner boards. I assume you're talking about the verticle 1x4 that siding butts against. Seems to work fine, you can adjust the height very easily from the elevations. Not sure if this is the best way, but seems to work fine for as little as I understand about the software. Randy Icon Residential Post edited on 2006-04-21 23:39:47
