i am trying to create a stair case that starts as 2 seperate runs, joins at a landing and then finishes its run as 1 run. it is an atrium stair. i have modeled what i want in autocad but i don't know how to get that into revit nor do i know how to make revit do the stair i want. i have created half of the stair in revit but if i mirror the run of stairs it thinks its a new flight and goes in the wrong direction. i know the floor plates aren't the same in the revit drawing...that's not an issue. but if anyone can help with the stair that'd be great. thanks

You need to do this as three stairs and an intermediate "floor" that is your landing.

Other simple option is to do half the stair and mirror it....

you will see the the line at the mirror axis where both stairs mergre, you can easily go to modify and line work tool and make it invisible line,

you need to fiddle around with railing after that...it should work.

Please let me know .....
