I screwed something up, and now my "Solid Fill" Fill pattern is more of a 45 degree hotch, and not a solid fill. I have tried to copy and paste a solid fill object from another file, but it overrides the inserted object with the one from the project file. How do I create a sold fill pattern? Thanks.

In Revit, the project normally is boss. Once something is in the project, you typically can not over-ride it except when Revit asks you. Rename your solid fill to 45 hatch or something, then bring in your new solid fill hatch.
