Hi

i got this roof from the designer and i m failing to find a good way to draw this in revit 2011.

Conceptual massing isnt my best but i also dont know if that is the correct approach.

 

tips and advice pls!!

Conceptual mass is your best shot for this roof and BTW, in plan view, that roof is wrong (CAD file), check that...

hi, yes i had detected the error in the cad plans to when i was drawing the footprint of the roof,

now i m first going to try and draw this with toposurfaces. this will not be a productive way of drawing this roof but i hope this wil get the job done fast for now.

"toposurfaces"?? why? If you want to manipulate the "Points" just create a "Flat" roof then you can manipulate the points/edge like you want.
