I'm satisfied with nearly all of Revit's features, but the stair sketching features are extremely frustrating and difficult to adjust.

 When in sketch mode:

  1. on a 2-flight U-shaped stair, moving one flight causes 'elements to be deleted,' which is the intermediate landing. The only work around I've found is clicking each riser and entering the tread with until the stair is where I want it... which takes too long to do.  The landing should adjust according to the stair relocation (which is the case when you click and drag the flight, however you can't drag it to a snap when doing this).
  2. Risers aren't joined to the boundary line, so when the stair width is adjusted, one must trim the risers to the boundary line.
Secondly, (although less annoying) the rotate command should prompt you for the point of rotation instead of defaulting to the middle, because it is practically never the case that an object is being rotated about its center.  It would be the same as having the move command default snap to the center; it just doesn't make sense.

I rarely sketch the stair.  I have found it faster and easier to let Revit lay it out automatically then I adjust afterwards.  Very easy to change it.

As far as rotating anything in Revit - just click on the rotation center and move it.... Forget your CAD
