Hi I have attached two photos. I am trying to create this entrance, which is made of panels of woods, but I am sure how to go about.

I read somewhere about the conceptual mass - do I need to use that ( as I have never played around with that )or can I component in place and create individual components and stack them. As the depth is 6'. And I am guessing whichever way I go with this I can apply it to the display walls on the sides.

Thanks so much for your help!!!

What photos?

I don't know what kind of entrance are you trying to do but when you talk about "Conceptual Mass" check this: http://buildz.blogspot.com/

and this: http://designreform.net/

I have also started a series on my site about the conceptual design environment in revit 2011: http://revittotd.com/category/tip-of-the-day/studio-design-series (I'd make it a link but revitcity doesn't like chrome when it comes to inserting links *looks at Admin and winks obviously*) In place mass and CDE are similar but you have a lot more freedom for design in CDE, however, you won't have the project to reference back to in CDE so if you need to be able to measure certain parts based on the rest of the project then an in-place mass may be what you need.

It's  hard to give much more on this without seeing what you're trying to do.  Upload the photos if you can, thanks!

Need help? I'm probably in my chat room!

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line!
