some of my stacked walls are not visible in elevation view.  they appear to be "hidden" but when selected and "unhide in view", they do not show.  they are visible in section and plan but not elevation.  anyone have experience with this?  (using Revit 2011)

You might want to look at the material of the missing wall porion.  Change that material and see what happens.
