You want the scale in the titleblock of the sheet?  Obviously a sheet can have many views, all with different scales, so Revit has no way of knowing which one to pick.

If you want this, add a parameter to your titleblock that you fill in.  Or, create multiple titleblocks, each with a different scale shown and you pick the correct one when you need it.

You cant really do this...the way that I got around it was to create a blank title block at the paper size you want to print on...ie create a 8.5x11 "Title Block" that only has the 4 lines that create the rectangle shape of 8.5x11 then place the view on that and print it.

Printing to scale and not using a title block can't really be done that I am aware of.

Do you mean printing a view without placing it on a sheet? If so, just send it to the plotter as you normally would. Don't use Fit to Page in settings, and set the Zoom to 100%. That's what I've been doing, and it works fine.

Kennedy,

How do you know what your going to get though?  That has always been my issue.  If I just need a portion of a plan on 8.5x11 to scale I could never get it to print the area I wanted without placing it on a sheet.

gdoherty0102,

If you want to print just a portion of a view that is 1/4" scale at 1/2" scale - then change the view scale, move the view crops, print the view and undo all your changes.
