Can anyone help me some revit questions, please? 1. How do I enter centre line symbol in revit? So far I only know the code for degree and diameter, could you tell me if you know the code for some other common symbols like autocad has?2. How can I edit arrowhead in revit. I need an arrow head style which has thick line as head and thin line as leading line.3. I couldn’t change my wall height. The wall automatically attached to the roof, I unattached it and set the wall height top level to the level that I set in properties, but the wall still shows as raking shape but flat. Can you help me to fix this one, please?

Answers: - Depends on the font you are using. If you are using Arial, you're SoL. There are fonts that do provide these symbols, the one I have found most useful is HandSF
- There is a tool in Manage > Additional Settings > Arrowheads  assuming you're using 2011) that will allow you to edit or define new Arrowhead types.
- How did you unattached the wall from the roof? It sounds like it's still attached. If you select the wall, in the modify wall panel of the ribbon there is a detach tool. Did you use that? Also, walls don't automatically attach to roofs. There was a dialog after you made the roof asking if you want to attach the wall to it. Should just be able to use the detach tool as mentioned above to actually detach the top then use the properties to adjust the top level or set it to unconstrained and manually set the height.
HTH!

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line! |
