Revit 2011.

I Created a sweep using and the sweep works fine, expect when i take a section through it I dont see the thickness of the pipe.  The Profile  I created has 2 circles with the thickness being 1.5".  I have also tried doing a Viod Sweep and i get a message stating there is no geometry to cut and Revit wants to delete the entire sweep.  I have also tried changing the Silhouette Line type but I get no change.  I guess to say it simple even when I take a section I only see the pipes for elevation.

After you created the VOID you must use the "Cut Geometry" tool between them, select the void then select the mass.

When I use the method you suggested,  The vvoid opbject is Orange and I'm able to select it first, but then when I try to select my sweep, it is grayed out and wont allow me to select it.

That's because you create that void in the wrong category, just edit that sweep, create the void, use the Cut geometry tool and finish the sweep.

I tried that method as well and even though it allow me to create the void, it still shows my sweeps as "elevation" allow though its a section.  But I did change the category that I did my orignal sweep in (changed it from Mech to Generic Model) and it worked out  perfect.

Thanks again for the help
