Hello All, I have a dilemma. I have a model (architectural and structural) that needs to be filtered for certain partition types so I can create a locatio diagram for use in the office. The partition family name is PTN-9.3. I have tried to filter in the visualization/graphics menu, but I'm having some trouble approaching it in an obvious way. Under rules I gave the following parameters: Family Name>contains/PTN Once that is finished I simply hit OK and go back to the menu and also select ok there. Now when I do this, Revit does some thinking and finally produces the same results as if I did nothing. ANY TIPS ON THIS WOULD HELP GREATLY

You have to ADD a filter to a view. Click the add button and select your filter out of the list and hit ok. You should see the entry show up in the filter tab, then you use the overrides.
