I have an issue where I have extended a second floor plan's view range down to show some "eyebrows" over lower windows.  I used the "View Depth" parameter.  Part of the eyebrow is existing, part is demolished and part is new.  But the graphic style of those objects appears "New" in all cases.  I can't locate a separate setting for display for the "View Depth" entities, so I believe this is a bug.

Any ideas?

Revised to add: Revit 2011 without Product Update #2.

I think you need to look again at all the entities and look at your view settings.  Also look at what might be hiding what.  If new and existing demolished occupy the same location, that would be a problem.

OK.  I don't know why Revit is designed this way, but here's what I see.

If I set my "View Range"

Top: 10'

Cut: 3'

Bottom: 0'

View Depth Level: -3'

Then everything below "Bottom" will not show phasing, it will all show as "New" or "Complete".

If I change "Bottom" to match "View Depth" (-3' in the example), then phasing will be shown.

For Ceiling Plans, "Top" and "View Depth" must match for phasing to be shown.
