I have made revit family: embed vertical. I cannot get my extrusions to move with my reference planes for the gage. I have tried using sweep instead but to no avail. I also lose my associations whe I try to array the extrusion with a parameter...like "number of bolts" HELP?!

It appears that whe you array the extruision...it forms a model group. Can a model group not be locked to a reference plane?

A model group can be locked to a ref plane, but the objects inside the group cannot be locked to objects not in the group. It might be easier to help you if you attach the family you are working with.
