Hi do anybody knows how to get gradient background in elevation views in revit.....my elevation drawing consist of 2d details so cannot do orient to view 3d!! any sugesstions...

 

also I am very upset coz I am not able to put watercolor tree plan images into tree families to make my site plan look attractive.....

plz help!!!

well, i try to do a "gradient" once in revit... with the detail item filled pattern. Unfortunate to me, it was impossible, so i made multiple filled with solid gray color. The hardest ( and maybe the one that give you more work) is that the mask of filled pattern hide the rest of the drawing, so you have to follow the silouethe of the elevation.

The coloured plan trees you talkin about can be solved in a similar way, only this time is going to be green instead of gray. Hope it helps...

 

BUT to make a really nice looking elevation, why not putting a render as a background (300 dpi, draft settings copied to custom, there with a antialias of 6) , and a actual elevation on top of it (on the sheet)....thats more efficient and pretty way to show that.
