I'm new to revit structure and I copy monitored a floor slab from an architect's model. Before I did that I clicked on the options icon and went to the floors tab and made sure that the Copy openings/Inserts box was checked. After I copied the floor the openings are not showing up. I went into Visibility Graphics and turned off everything except floor and shaft openings in my model. The shaft openings are still not showing up. Do the openings not get copied and you need to cut them yourself?

I don't like shaft openings because I have other problems with them so I manually sketch the opening in the floor. I tested this in a test project and the floor with shaft opening was there. Something else going on. Did you add the shaft after the floor was copy monitored?

I deleted the previous slab that was copy/monitored because there were so many openings that the architect changed. This new floor that the openings are not showing up on would be brand new my project.
