In our lighting plans, our troffer fixture representations contain either a solid filled or non-filled circle representing an outlet box. These are created as detail items, and brought into the troffer families. For our purposes, I use a visibility parameter to control which one is shown in our lighting plans. I would like to create a subcategory within the troffer family and assign these detail items to that subcategory. Then, in a view for an architectural RCP, was hoping to create a filter that would allow me to turn off the visibility of the subcategory, presenting the fixtures in a way the architects find more acceptable. The subcategory does not seem to carry through from the family into the project for filtering, and it also seems that I cannot apply a subcategory to a solid fill pattern (any pattern?). Please help. Thanks, Mitch Mermel, Maitland, Fl
