Lets break this down. Imagine in front of you on your desk a cup of coffee and a powdered donut with jelly in it. This represents your model. Now set up 4 Closed circuit video camera's on all 4 sides (this represents your elevations) When you cut a section or make a callout, you instantly add another Camera to your CCTV. Once you have it setup, your boss comes in and grabs the donut and takes a massive bit out of it and puts it back on the table. Now the jelly is oozing out of the center core and on to the table. No worries though because all your Camera's (Views, sections, callouts & plans) have all automatically updated to reflect the changes. Revit is a massive complex CCTV system. If you get that concept you are well on your way! Now drink the coffee before it gets cold. Homey
