Hi All, I just started work with a new firm using ADT ( AutoDesk Architecture ) primarily within large Healthcare Projects. They are considering moving to Revit but are worried about losing their extensive library of healthcare equipment. Having used Revit now for 5 years, I am keen to make the move as its so much easier. The questions I need peoples comments are: Can Revit handle complex healthcare projects? Can Revit cater for the production of complex equipment schedules that are found in such large projects? Many Thanks in Advance Beau

There are many many people using Revit for health care. Of which I've been involved with a couple. A few have used Codebook in conjunction with Revit for the Room Data Sheets. However, provided you have the library setup with the appropriate parameters the generation of the equipment schedules is quite easy. So yes Revit can definitely handle complex healthcare projects. Yes Revit can create complex equipment schedules and room data sheets, provided you invest the time generating the library of components.
