Yesterday one of our offices experienced a power outage for a brief period. A few of our users were not able to acquire a license after power was restored.

We looked at LMTools and it was showing that the users never lost a license so we stopped/started the server, rebooted locally...nothing worked.

 

We found that it was a corrupt file controlling the casdacing functionality. Thecorrupt file can be renamed or deleted to fix the problem.

 

I wanted to post this because the error number we recieved did not point to cascading and this solution was found for a different problem.
