The company I work for has invested in Revit families of our products, but the expense was HUGE!  We are convinced we will recover the investment ... but it will take TIME.  We are investing in our models as a marketing tool.  Are other manufacturers doing the same?  Seems to me the manufacturers are lagging in the adoption of BIM tools.
