I'm trying to export a perspective view to manipulate in illustrator (exporting to AutoCAD dwg). Problem is, it keeps converting my drawing to a paraline instead of perspective--? I've tried directly exporting the view, and placing it on a sheet first, but same problem... thanks for your help!

If you export the 3D model in Revit, you will get a true 3D model in CAD. If you then want to see that in perspective, you will have to look at it that way in CAD. If you placed a 3D perspective view on a sheet and export the sheet, it should be a 3D perspective but 2D linework in CAD.

figured it out I think: If I "print" (from sheet) to .pdf I get my image correctly in perspective--exporting to .dwg, revit converts the perspective to paraline
