Now to me, the main difference is curtain wall can't work with irregular geomoetry(like slanted wall, curved face, etc.), only curtain system can.

 ut for a vertical flat shape, both work, you can get seemingly same stuff. But for the seemingly same panel system, are they the same for their future performance?(like possibility to be scheduled, capability to have their panel to be replaced by customized panel, etc 

 I am worried only at some point down the road I find out that I pick the wrong way to set up my model.

Stick with curtain walls if you can.

Curtain walls allow you to attach top / base to other walls, roofs or floors. You can also use 'edit profile' with curtain walls.

I use curtain systems when applying to the face of massing geometry.

Then if the mass changes, the curtain system can update to the new mass.
