in r2011 one can create a "custom elevation tag". C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Revit Architecture 2011\Program\Help\en-US\WBH\filesUsersGuide\WS73099cc142f487551d68dd061249d36330f-6cf7.htm rather than "do it yourself" is this tag available for download?

take one that already works, and then edit it for what you need. ( metric library is in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\RAC 2011 )

Its already in the r2011 annotation symblos: you load the elevation mark family into the drawing via insert/load family/Elevation Mark Body_Custom.rfa you now select it as the one to use as follows: - Click Manage tab/ Project Settings panel/ Settings drop-down/Callout Tags, Elevation Tags, or Section Tags.
- In the Type Properties dialog, edit type properties as necessary.
