Have created a plywood web joist system and as a newbie have only been able to get the joists to run into the inside core line at both ends of the runs. I need to make them snap the the core exterior line.
Ive dragged them out past the line of the exterior walls but when I try to adjust them back they snap to inside core position. Can I use the trim command in some way to trim the joists to the desired position.
Cheers
Thx Rythmick

Structural wood connections in revit are not where they need to be "yet".
You can add an extension parameter to your joist family for both ends that will extend them beyond the structural connection point. Once you set the ends in one joist, use the match (eyedropper) tool to set the remainder of the joists with the same condition.
Another solution is to pick the system up off the top plate 1/8" or so so it does not identify the wall below as a connection. - I have not tryed this one yet but sounds like it will work.
Another solution - look into creating your joist family out of a non structural family so it does not look for connections.
