I was working on a house recently and I had a dilemma where I had a garage that had some earth over one section of it. I had to create a tunnel of sorts. it would be great if we could tell revit how high we want the pad to go. Not just from the level we select as a base right up through the topo. This way we could make tunnels and cut outs in topography.

Is that a question?

Just create that "Tunnel" with slabs and walls then in the section views use "Masking Region" to clean the site pattern.

Nope it is not a questions it is something I wishfor.

Masking regions are all well and good but would be far better to be able to model it. I just modeled in my own in place family for the earth I needed above the slab.
